Do you have gluten-free fish and chips?

We don't offer gluten-free batter. Our grilled fish and a few sides and drinks are made without gluten ingredients, but everything is cooked in shared fryers and on shared equipment, so we can't guarantee a completely gluten-free result. Please add a note at checkout if you have coeliac disease or a serious allergy and we'll do our best.

Where can I see allergen details for a menu item?

Every item on our online menu shows dietary badges and a 'contains' list for the main allergens — gluten, fish, crustaceans, molluscs, egg and milk — plus a shared-fryer note where it applies. If you need details on a specific sauce or batter, give us a call and we'll check the packaging for you.

What fish do you use?

We use fresh and snap-frozen fillets suited to frying — hake and New Zealand hoki for our everyday fish, with grilled options and daily catches when available. Ask in store for what's freshest on the day.

What oil do you fry in?

Accepted Answer

We fry in clean, regularly filtered cottonseed/vegetable blend oil with no peanut oil. Fish, chips, seafood and crumbed items share the same fryers, so cross-contact is possible.

Do you have meal deals or daily specials?

Yes. Current specials appear in the Daily Specials section on the homepage and on the Order Online page, and each one loads straight into your cart with the right options selected. Family packs are our best value for groups.

What portion sizes do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Most fish and chip items come in regular or large, with a kids size on selected items. Chips come as small, regular or family, and packs are sized for two, four or a family feed. You choose the size when you add the item to your cart.

Can I customise my order?

Accepted Answer

You can. When you add an item you can choose cooking style (standard, extra crispy or lightly cooked), salt options, sauces, portion size, and swap your chips for a garden salad or potato scallops. There's also a special-request box for anything else.

Are you takeaway pickup only?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Sea Bounty is a pickup takeaway. Order online, pay by card, and collect at your chosen time from 5/156 Orrong Road, Lathlain WA 6100.

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Payment is by card online when you place the order, so your food is paid for before you arrive. If a payment fails you'll get a retry link on your confirmation page and by email.

How do I choose a pickup time?

At checkout you can pick ASAP (we'll give you the earliest ready time based on how busy we are) or schedule a later time within our trading hours.

Question 11

What's the best way to reheat fish and chips?

Accepted Answer

Oven or air fryer at around 190°C for 6–8 minutes brings the batter back to crisp. Avoid the microwave — it softens the batter and dries the fish.
